Salary: PGT Maths/English/Physics: Rs. 47,600/- + DA per month (Level 8, Pay Matrix, 7th CPC). TGT Maths: Rs. 44,900/- + DA per month (Level 7). Laboratory Assistant (Physics): Rs. 25,500/- + DA per month (Level 4). Counselor: Rs. 30,000/- consolidated per month (negotiable for exceptional candidates). Band Master: Rs. 40,000/- consolidated per month. Art Master: Rs. 25,000/- consolidated per month. Regular staff are additionally entitled to DA, Transport Allowance, LTC, NPS, subsidized schooling for two children, gratuity and leave encashment as per Sainik Schools Society rules; rent-free accommodation and free messing (with cadets, during academic session) apply to all posts.

Eligibility

PGT Maths/English/Physics: 2-year Integrated PG course from RIE-NCERT in the subject (min. 50% aggregate incl. B.Ed) OR Master’s degree in the subject (min. 50%) plus B.Ed or equivalent; proficiency in English-medium teaching. TGT Maths: 4-year Integrated Graduate course from RIE-NCERT OR Bachelor’s degree in Maths (min. 50%) plus B.Ed or equivalent, and CTET/STET (Paper-II) qualified. Laboratory Assistant (Physics): 12th/Intermediate with Physics as a subject or equivalent. Counselor: Post Graduate/PG in Psychology, OR PG in Child Development, OR Graduate/PG with Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling. Band Master: Band Master/Band Major/Drum Major course at AEC Training College and Centre, Pachmarhi, or equivalent Naval/Air Force course. Art Master: Master’s degree in Fine Art (Painting) OR Graduate with Fine Art/Art/Drawing and Painting plus a minimum 4-year diploma, OR Higher Secondary/Intermediate with a 5-year (full-time) or 7-year (part-time) diploma in Fine Art/Painting/Drawing and Painting.

Age Limit

PGT posts and Laboratory Assistant/TGT Maths: 21 to 40 years (TGT Maths and Laboratory Assistant: 21 to 35 years). Counselor, Band Master, Art Master (contractual posts): 21 to 50 years (Band Master carries a 5-year age relaxation for Ex-servicemen).

Application Fee

Rs. 500/- for General & OBC/MBC candidates; Rs. 300/- for SC and ST candidates (non-refundable), payable online via SBI Collect on the school website. Reserved-category candidates claiming the fee concession must attach a valid caste category certificate.

Applications must reach the Principal by the last date — online Google Form submission and fee payment alone do NOT constitute a valid application; the hard copy with all supporting documents is mandatory. Enclose a recent passport photograph, self-attested mark sheets from class 10th onward, professional/experience certificates, the fee-paid certificate, and (for SC/ST applicants claiming fee concession) a valid caste certificate. Superscribe the envelope with the post applied for. Selection is a three-stage process: Written Test (100 marks, 50% weightage — covering General Knowledge, General English, Basic Maths and a subject test, minimum 33% required to qualify), Class Demonstration (100 marks, 30%), and Interview (100 marks, 15%), plus marks for higher qualification/experience (50 marks, 5%). By-hand and e-mail applications are not accepted.
