Eligibility

Qualification is post-specific (all on contract basis): Senior Treatment Supervisor – Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a TB Health Visitor/sanitary inspector course; Senior Tuberculosis Laboratory Supervisor – Graduate/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology; Lab Technician/Sputum Microscopist – 10+2 with Diploma/Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology; District Programme Coordinator – MBA/PG Diploma in Management or Health Administration; Tuberculosis Health Visitor – Graduate in Science or 10+2 Science with MPW/LHV/ANM experience; District Pharmacist – Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy; Refrigerator Mechanic – Matriculation with ITI in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning; VBD Consultant – PG degree in Zoology (Entomology) or Life Science; MTS – Graduate with Biology and a valid two-wheeler licence; ANM posts (NHM/MTC/RBSK/NUHM) – 10+2 with ANM course, registered with the Jharkhand Nursing Council; Staff Nurse posts (NHM/NBSU) – 10+2 with GNM training, registered with the Jharkhand Nursing Council; Block Data Manager – Graduation with a Diploma in Computer Application; Pharmacist (RBSK) – Diploma in Pharmacy, registered with the Jharkhand State Pharmacy Council; Nutritional Counsellor – Master’s/Bachelor’s in Food and Nutrition or Home Science; Hospital/Sanitary Attendant – Matriculation; Psychiatric Social Worker – PG in Mental Health/Psychiatric Social Work; Rehabilitation Worker/CBRW – 10+2 with a recognised rehabilitation-worker certificate, registered under the Rehabilitation Council of India Act 1992; Clinical Psychologist – PG plus M.Phil in Medical/Social Psychology, recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India. Age Limit

Minimum age 21 years. Age is reckoned from the date of publication of the advertisement (20 July 2026), per the Jharkhand Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha Department resolution dated 02.04.2026. Maximum age by category: Unreserved 35 years; Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class 37 years; women (Unreserved, EWS, Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class) 38 years; Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (men and women) 40 years; Economically Weaker Section 35 years. For persons with disabilities the maximum is raised to 45, 47, 48, 50 and 45 years respectively.

Application Fee

₹400 per post for General, Other Backward Class and Backward Class applicants; ₹200 per post for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe applicants. The fee is paid by demand draft made payable to Jila Gramin Swasthya Samiti, Giridih (District Rural Health Society, Giridih) and must be attached to the application; a separate draft is required for each post applied for.
