Eligibility

Post-wise educational qualification (see the Vacancies table above for pay by post):

• Lab Technician Gr-III: CMLT/DMLT from an institution recognised by the Director of Medical Education
• Occupational Therapist (DEIC): Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised university
• District Programme Manager: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (BAMS) from a recognised university, with working experience in organisations working in public health; exposure to social sector schemes/missions of government at national, state and district level; knowledge of computers (MS Office/Word/PowerPoint/Excel). Preference given to candidates with a PG qualification in an AYUSH stream and experience in the health sector including AYUSH.
• RMNCH+A Counsellor (Female candidates only): Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work/Public Administration/Psychology/Sociology/Home Science/Hospital & Health Management, with 1–2 years’ work experience in the health sector or a relevant field
• Assistant cum Data Entry Operator: Any degree with computer knowledge (1 year’s experience preferable)
• ULB-UHN/ANM: Passed Higher Secondary School Examination and a 2-year ANM course from a DPH-approved institution
• Cleaner: 8th standard pass, able to read and write in Tamil

How to Apply

Apply offline, addressed to the Member Secretary/District Health Officer, District Health Society, District Health Office, 219, Race Course Road, Coimbatore-18. Application forms can be downloaded from https://Coimbatore.nic.in.

1. Download and complete the application form with all requested details.
2. Affix a passport-size photo and attach self-attested copies of all required certificates.
3. Submit the application in person, or send it by Speed Post, to the District Health Office, Coimbatore.
4. Ensure the application reaches the office by 15 September 2026, 5:00 PM — applications received after the due date, and applications with incomplete details or documents, will be rejected.

All posts are purely temporary; no permanency is granted at any point. Selected candidates must submit a self-willing consent letter (undertaking) and an 11-month contract letter at the time of joining.
