Salary: Jr. Clerk-cum-Copyist and Jr. Typist: ₹19,900-63,200 (Level-4). Stenographer Grade-III: ₹25,500-81,100 (Level-7). Plus D.A. and other allowances admissible to State Government employees. Appointment in the regular pay scale is subject to the outcome of W.P.(C) No. 1273/2014 pending before the Orissa High Court, Cuttack.

21 posts total. Jr. Clerk-cum-Copyist: 13 (UR 5, SC 1, ST 5, SEBC 2). Jr. Typist: 3 (UR 2, SC 1). Stenographer Grade-III: 5 (UR 2, SC 1, ST 1, SEBC 1). Eligibility

Candidates must: be a citizen of India; have passed a Bachelor’s degree (+3) or an equivalent examination from a recognised university; hold at least a Diploma in Computer Application from a recognised institute (candidates with BCA/MCA/B.Tech in Computer Science/M.Tech in Computer Science are exempt from this); be able to speak, read and write Oriya and have passed a test in Oriya equivalent to M.E. Standard; be of good character and sound health; and have not more than one spouse living, if married. Additional post-specific skill requirements: Jr. Typist requires a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute in English; Stenographer Grade-III requires a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in English typewriting. A separate application must be submitted for each cadre applied for.

Age Limit

18 to 42 years as on the last date fixed for receipt of applications, i.e. 03 August 2026. The upper age limit is relaxed for reserved categories as per Rule-5 of the Odisha District and Civil Courts’ Judicial Staff Services (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008 and amendments thereto.
