Salary: Teaching Associate: Rs. 67,000 per month plus applicable HRA for PhD holders, Rs. 61,000 per month plus applicable HRA for Master’s degree holders. Teaching Assistant: Rs. 35,000 consolidated per month.

4 posts in total at the Polytechnic of Organic Farming, RARS Chintapalle, all purely on a contractual and temporary basis for a period of 11 months. Category A – Teaching Associate: 1 post. Category B – Teaching Assistant: 3 posts.

Eligibility

Teaching Associate: a PhD in Agricultural Sciences, or a Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences following a four or five year Bachelor’s degree with first division or equivalent overall grade point average, together with at least three years of relevant teaching or research experience evidenced by a fellowship, associateship, training or other engagement. The candidate must have published one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) or NAAS-rated (above 4.0) journal. A candidate holding a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with a three-year Bachelor’s and two-year Master’s degree must have NET qualification. All relevant degrees must have been completed at ICAR accredited universities or colleges only. Teaching Assistant: a four-year B.Sc (Ag) or B.Tech (Ag. Engg) degree. The engagement is purely temporary and contractual, terminating after 11 months, and the notification states the incumbent shall have no claim to regular appointment or further continuation.

Age Limit

Teaching Associate: maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women, as on the date of interview. Teaching Assistant: upper age limit 35 years as on the date of interview.
