4 posts of Assistant Manager – Legal in the Legal Division of APCRDA, Amaravati, engaged on a contract basis.

Eligibility

Essential qualification: a Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputed institution. Experience: a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience, with working knowledge of Public Administration laws; land laws including the AP CRDA Act, 2014 and the Land Pooling Scheme, the Transfer of Property Act, Assignment Rules, and the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013; the Companies Act, 2013; the Indian Contract Act; the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996; public procurement rules, general finance rules and labour laws. The role supports the Legal Wing in providing comprehensive legal services for the planning, development and delivery of the Amaravati Capital City and allied infrastructure projects, assisting departments, agencies, special purpose vehicles and officials of APCRDA across litigation, advisory and contract work, including drafting and negotiating contracts, memoranda of understanding and agreements, liaising with government departments and statutory authorities, and representing the organisation in legal matters including court proceedings.
