CMHO Balodabazar-Bhatapara Recruitment 2026 – 38 NHM Contractual Posts (Community Health Officer, Staff Nurse and More)

Vacancies

The number of advertised posts is variable and may be increased, decreased, or cancelled for administrative reasons. Recruitment follows the district’s applicable reservation roster.

Eligibility

Post-wise educational qualification (see the Vacancies table above for pay by post):

• Block Programme Manager: MBA or MSW (minimum 55%) plus a 1-year Computer Diploma
• MO-AYUSH (Male/Female): BHMS/BAMS/BUMS degree registered with a GOI-recognised Ayush/Homeo/Unani registration board
• Community Health Officer: BSc Nursing/Post Basic BSc Nursing certificate in Community Health Integrated Course, with live Chhattisgarh Nursing Registration Council registration
• Nursing Officer / Nursing Officer (UHWC) / Staff Nurse: BSc Nursing or GNM, with live Chhattisgarh Nursing Registration Council registration
• Pharmacist: Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy (50%) with Pharmacy Registration Council registration
• Laboratory Technician: 12th passed, DMLT/BMLT/Paramedical course in Pathology, with CG Paramedical Council registration
• Physiotherapist: Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT)
• 2nd ANM: 12th passed, ANM passed from an INC-affiliated training centre, with live CG Nursing Registration Council registration
• Dental Assistant: Matriculation from a recognised board (2 years’ experience in a dental college/clinic or a 1-year lab technician/hygienist course is desirable)
• Counsellor: PG Degree/Diploma in Psychology/Counselling/Health Education/Mass Communication/Social Science
• Feeding Demonstrator: BSc Home Science
• Attendant (NRC) / Cook cum Care Taker (NRC): 8th passed
• MPW-Male (UHWC): Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) with Biology, plus a 1-year Diploma in Multipurpose Worker training, registered with the Chhattisgarh Paramedical Council
• Jr. Secretarial Assistant/LDC (UHWC): 12th passed with at least a 1-year Diploma in Computer Applications
• Class-IV (UHWC): 10th passed

Age Limit

Age is reckoned as on 1 January 2026. Chhattisgarh residents get a 5-year relaxation on the Community Health Officer age cap; combined relaxations for that post cannot exceed 45 years. Government/semi-government employees get relaxation as per applicable rules.

How to Apply

Apply offline, in the prescribed format, addressed to the Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Balodabazar-Bhatapara (Chhattisgarh). Applications are accepted only by registered post or speed post — applications delivered in person or by any other means will not be considered.

1. Complete the application in the prescribed format, one separate application per post if applying for more than one.
2. Write your name, the post applied for, and the programme name clearly on the application and on the envelope.
3. Self-attest and file all required documents in the specified order, bound together.
4. Send the application by registered post or speed post only, so it reaches the CMHO office between 20 August 2026 and 7 September 2026, 5:30 PM.
5. Applications received after the last date will not be accepted.

All appointments are purely temporary and non-transferable, valid for the 2026-27 financial year up to 31 March 2027. A merit list is prepared from academic marks, a skill/computer test where applicable, and experience marks; a category-wise waiting list (300% of vacancies) is also published. Document verification requires the candidate’s personal presence. All appointments and promotions remain subject to the final outcome of SLP (Civil) No. 19668/2022, pending before the Supreme Court of India.
