Eligibility

Post-wise educational qualification (see the Vacancies table above for pay by post):

• Medical Officer: MBBS or equivalent degree from an institution recognised by the Medical Council of India, with compulsory rotatory internship completed
• ANM: Higher Secondary Examination and a 1–2 year ANM course from a DME-approved institution/nursing course
• RBSK Pharmacist: D.Pharm from a recognised university, registered with the Pharmacy Council
• Laboratory Technician / ICTC Laboratory Technician: Intermediate (10+2) and a diploma or certified course in Medical Laboratory Technology
• ICTC Counsellor: Master of Social Work (MSW) or BSc (Nursing)
• Mid Level Health Provider: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM), or BSc Nursing, from an institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council
• Health Inspector Gr-II: Passed +2 with Biology, or Botany and Zoology; Tamil as a subject at SSLC level; and a 2-year Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Male)/Health Inspector/Sanitary Inspector course from a recognised institution
• Multi Purpose Hospital Worker: 10th fail accepted, but must be able to read and write Tamil clearly
• Homeopathy Medical Officer (PG): PG degree/registration with the respective board/council of the state, such as the Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine/TSMC/TNHMC
• Yoga Instructor: BNYS degree from a recognised university
• AYUSH Pharmacist: Qualified pharmacist with a 2-year course from a government-approved Indian Medicine institution
• AYUSH Medical Officer (Siddha): SSLC, HSC, degree/registration with the respective board/council of the state, such as the Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine/TSMC/TNHMC
• Medicine Dispenser (Siddha): SSLC, HSC, D.Pharm (Ayush) or integrated pharmacy course, certificate issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu only
• Therapeutic Assistant (Male): SSLC, HSC, Nursing Therapist course, certificate issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu only
• Dental Surgeon: BDS from a government or government-approved private dental college recognised by the Dental Council of India

How to Apply

Apply offline, addressed to the Secretary/District Health Officer, District Health Society, District Health Office, 05 Beach Road, Cuddalore.

1. Complete the application form with all requested details.
2. Affix a passport-size photo and attach self-attested copies of all required certificates.
3. Submit the application in person, or send it by Speed Post, to the District Health Office, Cuddalore.
4. Ensure the application reaches the office between 22 August 2026 (10:00 AM) and 9 September 2026 (5:00 PM) — applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.

All posts are purely temporary; no permanency is granted at any point. Selected candidates must submit a self-willing consent letter (undertaking) and an 11-month contract letter at the time of joining.
