5 posts in total: Assistant Grade-3, 2 posts (one unreserved-quota Scheduled Caste seat and one Scheduled Caste seat for a candidate with a disability) and Peon, 3 posts. Recruitment is under the Chhattisgarh District Judiciary Establishment (Recruitment and Service Conditions) Employees Rules, 2023 and the directions issued from time to time by the Chhattisgarh High Court, Bilaspur, and covers Class III and Class IV posts. The notification states that the number of posts is variable. Note one condition that catches out-of-state applicants: posts reserved for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class are reserved for original residents of Chhattisgarh only, and reserved-category candidates from other states are treated under the unreserved category.

Eligibility

Assistant Grade-3: a graduate degree from any recognised university, together with the computer and typing requirements set out in the notification. Peon: a pass in the pre-secondary school examination, that is Class 8, from any recognised board — this is the lowest educational bar in this batch of Chhattisgarh court notifications. For both posts the candidate is expected to know Chhattisgarhi or the local dialect. If the educational qualification, caste or domicile certificate submitted by a candidate is later found to be false, the notification provides for the selected candidate’s service to be terminated without notice and for penal action to be initiated.

Age Limit

The candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years of age as on 1 January 2026. For original residents of Chhattisgarh the upper age limit is 40 years. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class (non-creamy-layer) and women receive the relaxations issued by the State Government.
