The notification states the number of posts may increase or decrease depending on the vacancy position as per the requirement of Jal Shakti Vibhag.

Eligibility

Para Pump Operator

• Matriculation (10th) with an ITI certificate from a recognised ITI in the trade of Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Pump Operator cum Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Pump Operation-cum-Mechanic or Pump Operation and Maintenance
• OR Matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the above trades under the Skill Development Scheme of the Government

Para Fitter

• Matriculation (10th) with an ITI certificate in the trade of Fitter or Plumber from a recognised ITI
• OR Matriculation (10th) with a certificate in those trades under the Skill Development Scheme

Multipurpose Worker

• Middle pass (8th) or its equivalent from a school duly recognised by the State Government

How to Apply

Applications are invited offline, on the prescribed proforma attached to the official notification.

1. Download the notification and use the application proforma attached to it.
2. Submit a separate application for each post, if applying for more than one.
3. Attach every document listed above. Applications found incomplete are rejected outright without assigning any reason.
4. Ensure the application reaches the Jal Shakti Division Bilaspur on or before 5:00 PM on 17-08-2026. Applications received after the due date are rejected, and the department will not be responsible for postal delay.

Selection: shortlisting and eligibility are decided from the documents submitted where applications exceed the number of posts; shortlisted candidates then undergo a skill or physical test as required for the post, and are called for it separately. Original certificates may be inspected at evaluation, before the skill or physical test.
