Eligibility

Warden (Male): B.A. or B.Sc. from a recognised university, with at least two years’ experience in hostel management. Remuneration Rs. 21,175 per month. Must be able to stay in the hostel 24×7. Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper (Male): must have passed the HSC examination from a recognised board. Remuneration Rs. 7,500 per month. Head Cook (Male): remuneration Rs. 9,000 per month; must be conversant with LPG use, maintain hygiene while cooking, and stay in the hostel 24×7; preference and due weightage to candidates trained in cookery. Assistant Cook (Male): remuneration Rs. 6,750 per month; same cooking, hygiene and residence requirements as Head Cook. The notification states no minimum educational qualification for the Head Cook and Assistant Cook posts. All four posts are for the Boys’ Hostel and are open to male candidates only. Preference goes to local candidates, preferably from the block area, then from adjacent blocks of Mayurbhanj district; the notification states that no candidate from outside the district should be recruited.

Age Limit

Warden: 30 to 60 years as on the date of advertisement (retired teachers who are willing and physically and mentally sound may apply up to 62 years as on the date of engagement). Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper: 21 to 32 years. Head Cook: 30 to 40 years. Assistant Cook: 21 to 32 years. All ages reckoned as on the date of advertisement.
